Please find below a list of the scams that we are aware of, including those that operate on other au pair websites.

We will continue to keep this list as up to date as possible. Note that the list of people is in order, so the most recent scammers at at the bottom of the list.

All of these people will steal your money, or worse. Please DO NOT contact them.

Scammers are not who they say they are. Many of these people don't live in the country that they say they do, and have set up elaborate scams to try and rob innocent people of their money.

Remember the ONLY WAY scammers can scam you is if you send money to them. NEVER SEND MONEY - EVER. You don't have to send money to "Lawyers" acting on behalf of families - this is a common scam. NEVER  deal with people with an email of ....@consultant.com - they are scammers.

As an au pair, to verify you have sufficient funds, you only have to provide a bank statement - you DO NOT HAVE TO PUT MONEY IN A LOCAL BANK ACCOUNT.... This is one of the most common scams !

• NEVER send money via western union to a host family address
• NEVER pay for an au pair flight in advance - they will not turn up.
• ALWAYS check that official government email addresses are used. Common scams are (for example ...UK-BorderAgency... @yahoo.com or gmail.com. Official government emails ALWAYS have .gov.uk or equivalent.
• ALWAYS check the official links on our VISA AND REGULATIONS pages. And check the pocket money guidelines.

Family Jody Brenek (fjodybrenek@yahoo.com) is a scammer, and will STEAL YOUR MONEY.

They pretend to be the UK Border Agency, and send you an email from: ukborder_agency@info-ba-uk.com. THIS IS NOT THE UK Border Agency Email address. It is (for example) UKBApublicenquiries@UKBA.gsi.gov.uk

Family Carrey Johnson is a scammer. DO NOT CONTACT - THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY.

Brittish Family - Mrs.Rachel Lynch is a scammer DO NOT CONTACT - THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY.

Family David Castello Parramon from Spain is a scammer. DO NOT CONTACT - THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY.

The name varies, but the user uses mattfamilycare@gmail.com - DO NOT CONTACT - THEY ARE A SCAMMER.

Family Jeff Ashford from England is a SCAMMER.

Family Roben Golf (robengolf_1975@yahoo.com) from UK is a SCAMMER. He is also so stupid that he has tried to use Golf Roben as well! He is from the USA and he will steal your money!

Family Robert Morgan from the US is a SCAMMER. He uses SMOOTH TRAVEL TOURS to steal your money.

Family James Gibbs (gibbsjamesfamily@gmail.com) is a SCAMMER. This user also goes by the name Dr James Gibson.

Family Jackie Waldron from the US is a SCAMMER.

A fun, energetic and pro-active LIVE IN Nanny is required to care for

commences. The hours will be 25-27 hours a week Monday - Friday so either a Nanny/Au pair who lives locally OR an international Nanny would be considered. You must be an experienced Nanny with baby experience and references to support your application if any. A driver is not required. Salary £negotiable.

Family Mr Marques Patrick from the UK (marquespatrick90@yahoo.com) is a SCAMMER. He offers a completely unrealistic amount of money, and actually lives in Brazil.

Family James Alice (jamesalice.alice@aol.com) from the UK is a SCAMMER. They actually live in the Syrian Arab Republic.

Family Mirium Timbruce (miriamtimbruce@gmail.com) from the UK is a SCAMMER. They actually live in Nigeria.

Family Igor Plakhtiy (igorsy891@yahoo.com) from the Ukraine is a SCAMMER. They actually live in Nigeria.

Au pair Nancy Neville from UK in Cameroon is a SCAMMER. She requests money for her flight. NEVER send money.

Family Mr Lawwer Smith from UK (lawwersmith@yahoo.com and scothsmith87@gmail.com) is a SCAMMER. Do not contact - they will steal your money !! He also goes by the name of Smith Parker. This guy is a complete liar. I have spoken to him on Skype myself. Insist that he show you his drivers licence on the webcam - he will not do it. This is one good way to make sure your family is legitimate. Check their name and address details. If you have any concerns, just make sure you contact us and ask! Lets shut these scammers down!

They also reported nathaliasegios@gmail.com with telephone number +23793018938. They are pretending to work at the embassy in Cameroon. Do not contact or they will steal your money!
